Scottish beers are becoming increasingly popular outside the nation’s border annd more beers obviously equates to more breweries dotted around the place. Some of the top breweries in the country that are worth exploring more includes the following.

Tempest Brewing Co, Galashiels

This brewery was founded way back in 2010 and it has won a Scottish Brewery of the year award. Their trademark beer is called Long White Cloud which is very popular. They are diverse in skills and have a number of award winning flavours.

Fyne Ales, Argyll

Jonny and Tuggy Delap created Fyne Ales at a family farm, bringing high quality beers to Argyll. They’ve produced over 30 beers which are now sold at bars, restaurants and even supermarkets around Scotland and beyond. What started of as a small family business has now evolved and the guys are making £5M in turnover.

Brewdog, Ellon

Brewdog beer is everywhere right now and you might not have been aware that the brewery is situated in Ellon, Aberdeenshire. Their craft beers are sold in supermarkets, pubs and bars all over the UK and Brewdog have also released 17 bars. You can bet that founders Martin Dickie and James Watt are more than just a little pleased how this venture turned out.

Edinburgh Beer Factory, Edinburgh

This brewery with a difference injects a bit of artistic design into the actual style of the brewery and the beer itself. So far, they only have Paolozzi beer, which has a delicious taste of sweet and bitter. This beer is proving to be popular and Edinburgh Beer Factory is set to go to big heights.
